Rent the Archive

Hollywood's private designer costume rental showroom

By appointment · Hollywood · collected and returned in person. The Archive Hollywood holds the working archive of two-time Emmy-winning designer Marco Marco: red carpet, tour, music video and editorial pieces, available to rent for your project. We are a rental house, not a shop, and we do not ship.

How it works

1. Tell us about the project

Send a booking request with your project type, dates and what you are looking for. We read every request and reply within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. Same-day appointments may be available depending on production schedules.

2. View the archive in person

The archive changes constantly and there is no fixed catalogue, so everything is seen in the showroom. At your appointment you view the rails privately with our team and select the pieces that work for your shoot, stage or event. Fittings are welcome where scheduling allows.

3. Confirm the rental

We walk you through the rental agreement, confirm dates and security arrangements, and finalise the invoice. Minor tailoring can be arranged through trusted partners. Full terms are on our Rental Terms page.

4. Collect and return in Hollywood

Pieces are collected from and returned to the showroom at 1642 N Cherokee Ave. We are a regional rental house and do not offer shipping, courier or delivery.

What we rent for

  • Editorial and campaigns — statement pieces with a real history on set.
  • Music videos and live performance — stagewear built to move, from bodysuits to full looks.
  • Tours and residencies — performance pieces worn on some of the largest stages in the world.
  • Red carpet and press — gowns, tailoring and couture-level construction.
  • Film, television and commercials — production-friendly terms, Letters of Responsibility accepted.
  • Drag, cabaret and nightlife — the archive's roots, and still its heart.

Sizing is as individual as the pieces. Most were made for a specific performer, so tell us who is wearing it and we will tell you what will work.

What to know before you book

  • Valid photo ID and a signed rental agreement at pickup.
  • Security arrangements — a deposit or a production Letter of Responsibility — agreed before pickup.
  • Pieces come back dry-cleaned, unaltered and in the condition they left.
  • Late returns, damage and loss are charged — see Rental Terms.
